Example car: '98 Honda Integra Type-R

    Tools/Items required:
    - New Honda Power Steering Fluid
    - Pliers
    - 1m hose with an outer diameter of 10mm
    - 1l container
    - A plug with an outer diameter of 8mm (I used a presta valve cap)

The Power Steering Pump and Reservoir:

    STEP 1:
Raise the reservoir and use the pliers to take the hose clamp off and disconnect the return hose from the reservoir.
NOTE: When disconnecting the return hose from the reservoir, fluid will leak out. I used my thumbs to temporarily plug both holes. Keep a rag nearby in case the fluid spills.

    STEP 2:
Plug the return hole of the reservoir with the 8mm plug (presta valve cap in my case).

    STEP 3:
Stick the 1m drain pipe into the return hose so that it's nice and snug. Let it run into the 1l container.

    STEP 4:
Start the car and let the pump, pump the fluid out into the container. Make sure to turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock several times to get all the fluid out.

    STEP 5:
Take the 10mm drain pipe out of the return hose. Take the 8mm reservoir plug out of the reservoir. Reinstall the return hose on the reservoir. Remember to put the hose clamp back using the pliers.

    STEP 6:
Pull the red cap off the reservoir and fill the reservoir to the top (leave the cap off).

    STEP 7:
Start the car and keep an eye on the reservoir - top it up if required. Turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock several times to bleed air from the system.

    STEP 8:
Make sure the fluid level is between the MIN and MAX lines. Put the red cap back. Be sure to check the level again after a bit of driving.
